Tirthan Valley is located in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, near the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP). The valley gets its name from the pristine Tirthan River that flows through it.

Day 1 Arrival in Tirthan Valley | Riverside Camping & Leisure

  • Morning (8–10 AM): Arrive at Gushaini/Banjar (main villages near river camps)

  • Drive to Jalori Pass (approx. 1.5 hr from camp, 10,800 ft altitude)

  • Trek to Serolsar Lake – 5 km one way (~2 hrs)

  • Easy to moderate trail through dense oak & pine forest

  • Visit the Budhi Nagin Temple near the lake

  • Lunch (packed or local dhaba at Jalori)

  • Optional: Snow activities (Dec–Feb), or drive to Shoja village for panoramic views

🌆 Evening:

  • Return to camp by 5–6 PM

  • Tea & snacks followed by bonfire night

Day:3GHNP Exploration or Rolla Trek

Option 1: GHNP – Rolla Trek

  • Permit Required: Can be arranged via camp/homestay

  • Entry Point: Gushaini (2 km from camps)

  • Trek through dense deodar forest to Rolla (8–9 km round trip, ~4–5 hours)

  • Ideal for bird watchers & nature lovers

  • Enjoy riverside lunch on trail

Option 2: Local Culture Exploration

  • Visit nearby villages: Nagini, Jibhi, Sai Ropa

  • Waterfall visit (Jibhi or Chhoie Waterfall)
