Itinerary
Day by day
- Day01
McLeodganj → Triund (~9 km | 4–6 hrs)
Meet the Hill Hikers team in McLeodganj and trek towards Triund through oak, rhododendron and deodar forests with Kangra Valley and Dhauladhar views. Overnight camping at Triund.
- Day02
Triund → Snowline → Lahesh Cave (~6 km | 4–5 hrs)
Continue towards Snowline and Lahesh Cave for acclimatization before the high-altitude crossing. Spectacular glacier and Dhauladhar peak views. Overnight camping near Lahesh Cave / Laka Got.
- Day03
Lahesh Cave → Indrahar Pass → Chatta Parao (~10–12 km | 7–9 hrs)
Start early to cross Indrahar Pass — the highest and most rewarding day — with views towards Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal and the Manimahesh region. Descend to Chatta Parao for overnight camping.
- Day04
Chatta Parao → Kuarsi Village (~14–15 km | 7–8 hrs)
Descend through alpine terrain, streams and forests into Chamba Valley. Reach the traditional Gaddi village of Kuarsi. Overnight camping / homestay at Kuarsi.
- Day05
Kuarsi → Road Head → Chamba
Trek downhill through forests and Himalayan settlements to the road head (approx. 8–15 km), then drive to Chamba. Overnight stay in Chamba.
- Day06
Chamba → Departure
After breakfast, explore Chamba as per your schedule and proceed for your onward journey. Trip ends with unforgettable memories.
