What Makes This Package Special

Everything from Delhi, handled end to end. Most trek packages drop you at McLeodganj and leave the transport to you. The Triund Trek From Delhi Package picks you up from Kashmiri Gate, takes you to the mountains and back, and handles everything in between — so you can travel stress-free even if it’s your first time heading to the Himalayas.
A trek built for all fitness levels. The Triund trail is well-marked, gradual for most of the ascent, and manageable for beginners, families, couples, and solo travellers alike. Our qualified trek leaders set a comfortable pace and ensure no one is left behind.
Camping that’s actually comfortable. Forget basic tarps and sleeping on rocks. Our dome tents are weather-proof and cosy, sleeping bags are provided, and hot vegetarian meals are served at the campsite — dinner under the stars and breakfast with a Himalayan sunrise view.
Small groups, big experience. With groups capped at 8–15 people, you get personal attention from your guide, a more intimate camping atmosphere, and photos without a crowd.

Here’s the updated Best Time to Book section with the focus keyword in the first paragraph only:
Best Time to Book the Triund Trek From Delhi Package
March to June is the most popular window for the Triund Trek From Delhi Package, with pleasant temperatures, green trails, and clear mountain views. It’s perfect for a first-time trekking experience.
September to November brings post-monsoon freshness, the cleanest air of the year, and some of the sharpest views of the Dhauladhar peaks. An excellent season overall.
December to February is for those who want the magic of a snow trek. Triund in winter is a completely different world — silent, white, and breathtakingly beautiful — but temperatures drop significantly so extra warm gear is essential.
Monsoon (July–August) is generally best avoided due to slippery trails and reduced visibility, though some trekkers enjoy the lush green landscape during this period.
Packing List
Here’s the updated Packing List section with the focus keyword in the first paragraph only:
Packing List for the Triund Trek From Delhi Package
Keep your bag light for the Triund Trek From Delhi Package — you’ll thank yourself on the trail. A 20–30 litre daypack is plenty.
Essentials to carry: sturdy trekking or sports shoes (no sandals or flat shoes), warm layered clothing (a base layer, fleece mid-layer, and a windproof jacket), gloves and a woollen cap (even in summer — nights at altitude get cold), sunscreen and sunglasses, a personal reusable water bottle (at least 1 litre capacity), a headlamp or torch with spare batteries, light dry snacks for the trail, a rain cover for your bag or a compact rain jacket, and any personal medications you may need.
Leave behind heavy suitcases, unnecessary gadgets, and single-use plastic. Carry a power bank if you need your phone charged — electricity at the campsite is not guaranteed.
Important Things to Know
The trek passes through an eco-sensitive forest zone. Littering is strictly prohibited and may attract fines. Please carry all waste back with you and avoid single-use plastic on the trail.
Do not trek alone at night or stray from the marked path. Follow your trek leader’s instructions at all times, especially during steep sections and changing weather.
All activities are weather-dependent. The management reserves the right to modify the route or campsite in the interest of safety during adverse weather.
Alcohol and intoxicants are strictly not allowed during the trek.
Please carry a valid photo ID for check-in.

Itinerary
Day by day
- Day01
— Delhi → McLeodganj → Triund Trek → Overnight Camping
2,850 mEvening (Delhi Departure) Assemble near Kashmiri Gate, Delhi, by your designated departure time. Board your comfortable overnight Volvo bus and settle in for the scenic 10–12 hour journey to McLeodganj. Sleep well — the mountains are waiting.
Morning (McLeodganj Arrival) Arrive in McLeodganj in the early morning. Freshen up and grab breakfast (on your own or included as per package — confirm at booking). Meet your trek leader at the briefing point for an introduction, safety guidelines, and gear check.
Mid-Morning (Trek Begins) Start the trek from Bhagsunag / Dharamkot. The trail enters a dense forest of cedar, pine, and rhododendron, offering cool shade and birdsong in the early hours. The path climbs steadily with occasional steeper sections to keep things interesting. Stop at the famous Magic View Café midway for a chai break and your first dramatic view of the Kangra Valley stretching below.
Afternoon (Reach Triund) Arrive at Triund Top after 4–5 hours of trekking. Check in to your dome tent, drop your bags, and take in the view — the snow-draped Dhauladhar wall rising sharply behind camp and the vast valley unfolding ahead.
Evening & Night (Camping Under the Stars) Watch the sunset paint the Dhauladhar peaks in shades of orange and pink. Enjoy evening snacks around camp, a hot vegetarian dinner, and the kind of night sky you simply cannot see from Delhi. Sleep soundly at 2,850 metres.
- Day02
— Sunrise at Triund → Trek Down → McLeodganj → Delhi Return
Early Morning (Sunrise) Rise before dawn for one of the most memorable moments of the entire trip — the Himalayan sunrise. Watch the first light creep across the snow peaks and fill the valley below with gold. Hot tea and breakfast are served at the campsite.
Late Morning (Descent) Begin the trek back down to McLeodganj. The descent takes around 3–4 hours and is easier on the legs, with beautiful views all the way down.
Afternoon (Free Time in McLeodganj) Arrive in McLeodganj by early afternoon. With a couple of hours to spare, explore the Tibetan market, visit the Dalai Lama Temple complex, take a quick stroll to Bhagsu Waterfall, or simply enjoy a meal at one of the many cafés the town is famous for.
Evening (Departure for Delhi) Board your return Volvo from McLeodganj in the evening for the overnight journey back to Delhi.
Next Morning (Delhi Arrival) Arrive at Kashmiri Gate the following morning, back in time for your Monday — but with your head still very much in the mountains.
