Itinerary

Day HikeBhagsunag To Karthani (700 meters below Triund Top) via Bhagsu Waterfall

Trek to the first range of the Dhauladhar mountains, the Himalayan foothills. After an early breakfast, depart from McLeod Ganj and stroll through the oak, rhododendron, and deodar tree mixed woodland. The most well-liked day walk is this one.

Up until Triund, the track is clearly defined. Our climb to Triund, which is a hard elevation lasting three and a half hours, might begin when we travel to the Galu Temple. Good refreshments can be had at the little tea shops along the way. Situated on a level slope, Triund is an alpine meadow offering stunning views of the Kangra valley and the Dhauladhar ranges on one side.

After an enjoyable lunch at Triund, begin your descent to McLeod Ganj from the opposite direction, passing by Bhagsunag’s largest waterfall. If we have time, stop by Shiva Café for some evening snacks.
